I’m asking around, what do mornings at your house look like? What’s the routine? Even better, what’s your ideal morning routine? For me, answering the latter is more fun and anxiety free. It begins with waking on my own aka rested, coffee and the Today Show, shower, dressed and ready for the day and THEN the kids wake up and I’m dedicated to their every morning need. Ahh, that sounds so organized and relatively low stress, right? Too bad most mornings in my house are utter chaos. Chaos that involves no time for coffee and Willie G. And showering and event sometimes (gasp) toothbrushing aren’t guaranteed. I bounce back and forth from my bathroom to the kids’ rooms to the kitchen and back and forth and back again and after clocking close to my 10,000 steps for the day (ok, maybe a slight exaggeration), we’re out the door. It’s a marathon.

Luckily, I’ve found a few outfits that have shaved priceless minutes off my get-ready time. This jumpsuit has been on heavy rotation in the wardrobe line-up. It’s just so easy to throw on and feels like wearing pajamas but still looks put together. The beauty of the jumpsuit is that it’s only one piece you have to pick out in between showering, emails, coffee (yeah right), kids, whatever the countless tasks you have to knock out before getting out the door every morning. I’ll also rock this gem with a moto jacket (like this buffalo check or this faux moto) and booties now that the temps are cooling down.
