With a summer chalk full of travel plans, I’m starting to get packing strategies down to a science. I try to bring only “essentials” because the suitcase fills up quickly. But with a skin regimen that’s even more high maintenance than normal–hello pregnancy break outs, skin pigmentation, and dryness, my face won’t survive the random travel samples I’ve collected along the way.
A lot of trips I’m traveling solo with just the girls, so I also have no room from full size beauty products in the suitcase. So, I had to get strategic about my travel bag. Here are the travel size, suitcase approved products that I can’t live without this summer.
**I’ve been pretty hooked on Juice Beauty products since March. Stay tuned for an in depth review of their skincare and make-up products, but in the meantime, I can’t live without the green apple cleansing gel and stem cellular anti-wrinkle moisturizer. This age defy solutions travel kit would also take care of pretty much everything you would need for skincare in one fell swoop.
**I never leave home without a few Sk-II masks, especially when I have a special occasion or photo shoot to get the skin looking it’s best for. These masks are super hydrating, and the results are obvious in as little as 10 minutes.
**My goal when I travel is to wash my hair as little as possible. Wash, blow dry, style is time consuming, precious time I don’t want to waste primping. So a few shots of this dry shampoo daily helps the cause tremendously.
**Speaking of saving time, I often use these facial wipes at nighttime. Obviously, not as good as a thorough face cleansing, but are much appreciated on nights when I’m out past my curfew. A good back up plan to ensure a clean face hits the pillow.
**Lastly, this item may not be “essential” but I can’t live without a few spritzes of rose water in the morning and before bed, so this bottle tends to come along with me too. My friend got my hooked on this facial spray when I was her houseguest one weekend. She swears by it and I thought she was crazy at first but now I’ve got the rosewater bug too.
